TZO C2 Rear Racing Tire
The TZO C2 Rear is designed to deliver the combination racers need most from a high-performance rear tire: strong forward drive, controlled side bite, and predictable handling from the first lap to the last. Developed for carpet and turf racing, the C2 Rear uses a low-profile carcass and carefully engineered pin layout to maximize traction while maintaining a responsive and stable feel.
The low-profile carcass helps reduce sidewall deflection and tire roll, keeping the rear of the vehicle planted during high-speed sections and aggressive cornering. The reduced profile also allows the car to transition quickly through direction changes without creating excessive movement in the rear tire.
The C2 tread pattern uses a dense, precisely positioned pin arrangement to generate consistent contact with the racing surface. The pin geometry is designed to provide a strong base for forward drive while allowing the tread to work with the carpet or turf surface.
Alternating rows of pins help balance forward traction and side bite, giving the tire strong acceleration while maintaining predictable grip through the corner. The outer tread section provides additional support as the tire loads up, helping maintain consistent cornering characteristics and traction through the middle and exit of the turn.
